Discover our new application for ZWCAD 2027, which is compatible with Standard version
We've compiled a collection of useful LISP scripts that we've developed for our clients over the years, and have put them together into a special application. Discover over 25 useful functions packed into the ZWBoostPack application, which is sure to be of use to every ZWCAD user.
Selection
This panel contains functions that allow you to select objects located inside, or both inside and intersecting with, a specified polyline.

We can select them by choosing either the bounding polyline or a point within the enclosed area.
Background colour
This small panel offers three simple functions for changing the background colour.

This feature is particularly useful in situations where a designed element has a specific colour that blends into the background. Above is an example of the design of a roundabout sign.
Block management
This panel contains a range of functions for editing or using blocks. It includes an option to create your own layout, a function for directly editing nested blocks, the ability to draw arrows with successive clicks, and the option to label the midpoints and vertices of polylines.

You can see how easy it is to describe polylines using blocks in CAD drawings with ZWBoostPack.
Line management
We've also included several useful features related to various types of lines. The application allows you to outline polylines of varying widths, fillet or chamfer entire objects, and draw parabolas.
ZWBoostPack also includes two additional tools for editing multilines: changing the style of an existing multi-line and splitting it into polylines, which is unavailable in base ZWCAD.

Measurement management
There are 3 functions in this panel. The first one allows you to quickly check a distance or length, the second changes the style of the current dimension, and the third allows you to quickly dimension an entire object.

Simply select a closed polyline and specify the height for the text, and ZWCAD will create two special layers, with the full dimension text appearing on the drawing.
Other tools
In this section of ZWBoostPack, we've included the remaining features that didn't fit into the previous categories. Here you'll find functions for, among other things, encrypting LISPs, rotating the coordinate system, and creating a specially prepared set of layers.

A particularly interesting feature is Layout to Model – a function for creating layouts based on a specified template. These layouts will have appropriately adjusted viewports, scale, rotation, etc.
